Day 7

It has been a week. So glad i have great friends to keep me busy. tomorrow i am having a "spa day" at tonyas with all our girlfriends.

Long weekend..

This weekend was super busy, saterday we started out relaxed and then we had to get everyone ready for landons 5th birthday party. although it seems to take so much effort to get out of the house i was glad to get the kids out and about so they could play with friends and get some fresh air on such a beautiful but kinda windy day. mommy had lots of fun being silly with the kids.

After the birthday party we came home and hung out. 

Sunday was also super busy we started by getting all ready and going to the store before church. Then off to church where mommy helping in the babies up stairs and both boys had fun doing awana's. Naomi stood up and took two big steps. :-)  (7 months old) after church we went to have lunch with tonya, sandi and all the kids. After we had lunch we had a birthday party for andrews friend from school, Haley.

After the birthday party mommy needed to go to the grocery store... SOOO with three tired kids we went to the grocery store. luckly kids did ok and we got in and out pretty fast. we then came home and had dinner and went to bed we where all pretty tired. 

Monday was memorial day so we decided to have a BBQ with our monday bible study friends. Although thats not what it is all about it is nice to be able to spend time with our military family when we can not be close to our family. I thanks my friend and family for serving this counrty, and most of all my husband and my dad.

Day4

Today is friday and so far have had a good day. Linda came ad hung out for a while we had a great time as always. got some more house work done. Last night after my bath i gave the dog a bath, cleaned the bathroom and made a plan for what i want in the bedroom. :-) I have also decided i want to rearange the living room.. I KNOW I KNOW... i always rearange but oh well.. :-)
Once this load of laundry is done i think i may start rearranging. :-)

day 3

So today seemed to be a bit better.. we hung out around the house all day. We got to facetime with daddy for the first time. both the boys where so excited. Nay was napping so she missed it but when she woke up we facetimed again and she got to see daddy first thing when she got up.
victoria came over after lunch and hung out tell right before bed. After kids where in bed mommy steam cleaned the down stairs then did some editing. this weekend will be so busy we have two birthday parties and church. Being busy is a good thing but trying not to tire the kids out to much.
Tomorrow (friday) linda is coming over to hang out. i miss our time to hang and look forward to it when we get it.


through this deployment already i can feel the love from all around me. all my friends have really stepped up.. even if it is just a text to say hello how are you doing. or bringing me soda (Bri) just knowing i have such a great group of friends and military family helps so much. They all know me so well and know i will not ask for help so the just give it to me. i am truely blessed in my life. God has watched over us so much and i am excited to see what he has planned in teh future for us.

Day 2

Today has been kinda crazy... i knew i would be super tired cause i was up tell about 2am. Kids actually slept tell 8:15. Then we had gymnastics with caleb and his child find meeting. caleb did great at gymnastics, he told amy (his teacher) he was going to fly to see daddy while doing our stretches. was  little sad cause we had to leave early for his child find meeting.
After his child find meeting we came home and had lunch and tonya watch kids so i could run to the bank and post office. then we had relax time. after relax time mommy mowed the lawn and did some laundry. we went to a friends for dinner (angelas) boys where tired and did not act like big boys.. we ended up leaving cause andrew was throwing a huge fit. Once we got home andrew was ok but they got ready for bed and went to sleep.. now alone time... 

Day 1

The day has come and almost gone and we made it..minus the good cry Andrew had while saying goodbye to daddy we have no other issues all day. The kids had a good day. God surly has blessed me with such great children some days it is hard to be grateful for everything i have been given but God truely has given me so much. Although my life is not prefect it come pretty dang close. God had blessed me with friends who are there for me when ever i need it and a man who is willing to fight for my and everyone elses freedom.

Our day 
We kept super busy after dropping daddy off we went to haev some food with a new friend. Then came home to hang out and have lunch. after lunch we went to get some new diapers for sister and then went to a mind the gap fathers day car thing. the boys had fun running around and making some cards for daddy. After making cards we played at bob hope with our new friends. For dinner we had our new friends over. Kids where very worn out by the end of the day, and so was momma.

Andrew kept asking if daddy was there yet, and if we could talk to him yet. i dont think he relised that it is a long flight. Andrew has bee nothing but helpful for mommy and all the kids had such a great day. We miss daddy so much already.

Lets do this

There is such a build up to the leaving day when you have a deployment. Do you have this and that and oh ya this.... then the day comes and in the back of your head you think i hoep they forgot something realy important and can not go.. what else can i run back into the house to get to make this time last longer..at least for me that's how i felt..
Then we get to drop him off and you sit around and wait.. you are anxious and kinda feeling like you want it to all to start so it will be over sooner.. But of course.... the bus to get them is late.  So we sit with three cranky kids and wait tell finally you have to give your last cuddles and say good bye.. trying to hold it all together you watch your 4 year old hug his dad while crying the hardest you have ever seen him cry. Then your 3 year old give his last hugs not fully understanding and says goodbye. The baby sleeps in the car seat but had gotten lots of cuddles before falling asleep. Now it is your turn.. You want to be strong but can not hardly hold the tears back.. you cry a little and give your final kisses and they are off... all that build up and in what feels like a blink of an eye your back home waiting to hear the have arrived to there destination safely. While you pray you pray for this deployment to go just as fast as it came.
